About
As soon as I found out I was to be made redundant from my 20 year career at Cheshire Building Society I decided to set up my own gardening business and do something I am passionate about. Having completed a degree in Accounting and Finance in the early nineties I joined the Cheshire in 1995 spending a few years in the Mortgage and Treasury departments and then in IT for 17 years, and stayed there until the end of the company in 2014.
In 2014 Kathryn Moore Gardening began. However I have been gardening since I was a youngster, with a particular interest in wild flowers. When my mum and dad bought a greenhouse I was hooked. I sowed my first seeds and grew my first tomatoes and bedding plants.
In 2009 I pursued formal qualifications studying, and passing with distinction, a BTEC Advanced Certificate in Garden Design at Reaseheath College. In 2013 I began studying the RHS Level 2 Horticulture course at Reaseheath, passing the course with commendation.
I also take a weekly gardening club at my local school where I have designed, built and sought funding for a Sensory garden and a community allotment. With the children we designed a Back to Back garden which was on view to the Congleton public during the summer of 2014.

I have also written regular gardening columns in the Nationwide Building Society Union magazine called Rapport.

Hello, sorry to message at a weekend. My mum is needing some work done on her back lawn. It’s very overgrown, and with alot of weeds. She’s unable to keep up with the maintenance of it. She was thinking of a one off tidy up with possible maintenance afterwards. My mum doesn’t have an email address so I have left my name and email address. Many thanks, Kind regards, Lisa Jones.
Hi Lisa, thank you for getting in touch. I’m really sorry but I can’t fit in anymore customers at the moment. Kind regards Kath.
Hi Kathryn
Many thanks for your reply.
It’s okay, no problem. Thank you for letting me know.
Kind regards
Lisa
